Our Foundation
Readystate was established in Chicago’s vibrant Fulton Market district in 2021 by David Grossman and Ryan Garino, former Co-heads of Global Credit at Citadel.
After over a decade Citadel and prior to Readystate, David was a private venture investor and entrepreneur, owning and operating businesses across several industries. He also previously worked at Deutsche Bank within the Quantitative Value Trading (QVT) group. David holds an AB in Applied Mathematics and Economics from Harvard College.
After fifteen years at Citadel, Ryan became an adjunct lecturer at Northwestern University, teaching on the topics of inefficient markets and derivatives. Ryan started his career at The Boston Consulting Group after graduating summa cum laude from Northwestern University with a BA/MA in Economics. He also holds an MBA, with honors, from the University of Chicago.
Through their partnership of over 20 years, David and Ryan have fostered a shared vision for building a world-class investment firm. In Readystate, they have established a teaching and learning organization that helps every team member reach their highest potential.
